Plantain Porridge

Plantain is usually enjoyed fried, boiled or roasted and eaten with sauces. Plantain porridge is delicious and very easy to prepare.

  • 300 g unripe plantain, diced
  • 500 g Meat (optional)
  • 400 g Dried or Smoked fish
  • 2 Seasoning cubes
  • 1 1/2 c Palm oil
  • 1 c Crayfish, ground
  • 1 Large onion bulb, chopped
  • Chilli pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. Scent leaf, finely chopped
  • Pumpkin leaves or spinach, chopped
  • 200 g ripe plantain, diced
  • Peppered snail to serve with (optional)
